Please make sure you include time for preparation and cleaning up during your booked time slot. Arriving early or leaving late is not acceptable as it may impinge on other people’s booked (and paid) time.
An Initial deposit will be charged at 50% of the total Hire Charges
The balance must be paid no later than 28 days prior to date of hire.
A refundable deposit of £100 may be required according to the nature of the event, and should be included with the balance payment.
If you are intending to sell alcohol at the event you do not need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice as the centre is licensed. An extra charge of £10 will be added on to your hire charge, at a substantial saving to you.
There can be no serving of alcohol after 10.30pm, and no playing of
music after 11pm. Any later sales, or the late playing of music is in
breach of our lease and therefore of your booking contract.

No booking will be treated as confirmed until payment has been
received.
No refund can be made if notice of cancellation is received less than 28days before date of hire.
Bookings by persons under the age of 18 can only be accepted at the discretion of The Charity.
The Charity reserves the right to cancel bookings at any time before the date of hire. The Charity will endeavour to give the Hirer the maximum notice possible should this unlikely situation arise.
Extra points to note
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building.
The lighting of fireworks or bonfires is not permitted.
In order to maintain the condition of the oak floors in our hall please do not allow the wearing of stiletto heels.
The use of drawing pins, blue tack, sellotape or other such materials can damage the paintwork. Please use the hooks provided on the walls and beams for hanging bunting/lights/balloons etc.
